David M.Dirks Senior Vice President/Client Service

David received his B.A. in Economics from Stanford University, and his M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He joined Mellon as Director of Strategic Business Development in the Institutional Asset Management division in 2002 before coming to Franklin Portfolio Associates in 2005. Prior to joining Mellon, David was a consultant at McKinsey & Company in their Boston and Amsterdam offices, focusing on the financial services industry, and worked at State Street Bank & Trust Co in their structured finance group. David is Treasurer of Project Place, a nonprofit that serves Boston’s homeless population.
